The congress was attended by 201 delegates representing 1,208 party members in the Party Committee.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Central Office Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 25 members. At the first meeting at noon on the same day, the Executive Committee of the Central Office Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term elected the Standing Committee of 8 members.
Ms. Lam Thi Phuong Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies, Permanent Deputy Chief of the Office of the Party Central Committee, was elected as Secretary of the Party Committee.
The Party Executive Committee elected the Party Inspection Committee of the Central Party Office consisting of 7 people.
On the same afternoon, the Congress elected a delegation to attend the first Congress of Party Committees of Central Party agencies for the 2025-2030 term, including 31 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates.
24 Central Conferences, 214 Politburo meetings
Speaking at the congress, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu commended the comprehensive results achieved by the Party Central Office in the past term.
During the term, the Party Central Office chaired and coordinated the organization of 24 Central conferences, 214 Politburo meetings, 120 Secretariat meetings; attentively served the working sessions of the Politburo and Secretariat with central and local departments, ministries and branches; domestic and foreign visits and work of Party leaders...
At the same time, continue to perform well the role as the standing agency of the Organizing Subcommittee serving the 14th National Party Congress, the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee for implementing Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation...
Regarding the tasks of the next term, Mr. Tran Cam Tu requested the Party Committee of the Central Party Office to continue to thoroughly grasp, lead and effectively direct the implementation of General Secretary To Lam's instructions and orientations to the Central Party Office.
At the same time, continue to innovate and be creative in advising the Politburo, the Secretariat, key leaders, leading and directing major aspects of the country's work, promptly resolving sudden and arising issues.
Closely coordinate with the presiding agencies to regularly monitor the implementation of resolutions, directives, conclusions and directions of the Central Committee, Politburo and Secretariat; proactively propose to the Politburo and Secretariat to direct the correction and immediate overcoming of shortcomings and limitations.
Officials with moral qualities and clean lifestyle
The Standing Secretariat emphasized the need to strengthen leadership and direction to improve the quality of cadres and party members to match the task. Build a cadre with strong political will, moral qualities, clean lifestyle, sharp professional qualifications, high responsibility, dedication to work, strategic thinking capacity, ability to analyze, synthesize, forecast and propose policies.
Each cadre and party member of the Central Party Office must be a pioneer in implementing the Party's resolutions, truly worthy of the title "cadre of the Central Party Office", Mr. Tu emphasized.
At the same time, the Standing Secretariat requested to review the structure and arrange staff appropriately, in accordance with professional qualifications and work experience, and pay attention to implementing well the regime and policies for civil servants, public employees, and workers in the office.
