Ba Ria - Vung Tau is the economic locomotive of Vietnam, contributing up to 33% of the country's GDP. With the advantage of being close to the sea and having the largest deep-water port system in Vietnam, this province is identified as the gateway to the sea of the Southeast region and Vietnam, directly integrating with trans-oceanic sea routes. In 2021, despite the rapid spread of the COVID19 pandemic, investment capital in industrial parks and seaport services in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province continued to increase sharply, reaching nearly 1 billion USD. The province currently ranks 4th out of 63 provinces and cities attracting FDI capital from large economic groups such as: Japan, Korea, the United States, Canada, Thailand, the Netherlands...
