The Secretariat appoints personnel for the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee.

On the afternoon of September 16, the Provincial Party Standing Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Central Party Secretariat on appointing personnel for Ha Tinh province.

At the conference, the representative of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee announced Decision No. 1548-QDNS/TW dated September 10, 2024, the Central Party Secretariat decided to appoint Colonel Nguyen Xuan Thao, Director of Ha Tinh Provincial Police, to join the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Previously, on June 20, 2024, the Minister of Public Security issued a decision to transfer and appoint Colonel Nguyen Xuan Thao, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Security, to hold the position of Director of Ha Tinh Provincial Police.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung congratulated comrade Nguyen Xuan Thao, Director of the Provincial Police Department, on being appointed by the Central Party Secretariat to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thao to continue to focus on performing his duties, leading and directing to ensure political security, social order and safety. At the same time, coordinate well with the sectors in the internal affairs sector, the armed forces to perform well the assigned tasks; lead and direct the local police to review issues of ensuring security, order, internal solidarity, promptly detect incidents arising at the grassroots level.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Xuan Thao thanked the Party Committee and the people of the province for their companionship and support, and the attention of the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee. Colonel Nguyen Xuan Thao promised to continuously cultivate and train, together with the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Police and officers and soldiers in the entire force to effectively implement the resolutions and assigned tasks.
