On December 5, the Thanh Son District Red Cross Society coordinated with the People's Committee of Dong Cuu Commune to organize the inauguration and handover of the Humanitarian House to the family of Ms. Dinh Thi Ngan in Mu hamlet, Dong Cuu Commune, Thanh Son District, a poor household with especially difficult circumstances.
Representatives of sponsors presented funds to support the construction of a Humanitarian House for Ms. Dinh Thi Ngan's family in Mu hamlet, Dong Cuu commune, Thanh Son district.
Ms. Ngan is a single mother raising 2 children, living in a temporary, cramped house of 15m2 that is not safe. More specifically, unfortunately, the family encountered an incident on September 19 this year when one of her children drowned. Faced with that situation, the Thanh Son District Red Cross Association mobilized and connected with sponsors to build a Humanitarian House for Ms. Ngan's family, with a level 4 house design, a construction area of 40m2, and a total value of 120 million VND. Of which, the Thanh Son District Chess Club supported over 50 million VND; HAT Minerals and Construction Company Limited supported 20 million VND; the remaining amount was supported by benefactors, family members, local authorities and local people mobilizing people to support working days.
The Humanitarian House was handed over by representatives of the Thanh Son District Red Cross Society and sponsors to the family of Ms. Dinh Thi Ngan in Mu hamlet, Dong Cuu commune, Thanh Son district.
After nearly 2 months of construction, the house has been completed and handed over to Ms. Ngan's family for use just before Tet, helping her family overcome difficulties and encourage the pain of losing a loved one to stabilize their lives.
