Arrested 2 subjects robbed gold and raped a girl in Long An

On June 9, Duc Hoa District Police ( Long An Province) announced that they had just issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain two suspects for rape and robbery.

The two subjects are: Nguyen Chi Tam (21 years old, from Dong Thap ) and Vo Hoai Em (21 years old, residing in Duc Hoa district, Long An province).

On May 31, in My Hanh Bac commune, Tam and Hoai Em robbed a 21-year-old girl of 2 gold rings, a pair of gold earrings, and a gold bracelet. After robbing her, the two used force to control and rape her before fleeing.

Receiving a report from the victim, Duc Hoa District Police began searching, identified the location where the two subjects were hiding and arrested them.

At the police station, Tam and Hoai Em admitted to the robbery and rape. The police confiscated the stolen property.
