The Deputy Director of Cho Ray Hospital affirmed that operating room nurses are the core team that grasps the process, plans, and operation of equipment and instruments, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout the surgical process for patients. This is even more important when Cho Ray Hospital is implementing the ERAS program (Early Recovery After Surgery).

Meanwhile, according to nurse CK1 Nguyen Thi Kim Hiep, member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Nursing Association, Head Nurse of the Department of Surgery, Anesthesia and Resuscitation (Cho Ray Hospital), the role of operating room nurses is highly appreciated by the surgical industry, contributing to the success of the surgery. However, this role has not been fully recognized and evaluated.
