The conference announced the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee appointing Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Long Hai as Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. On behalf of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang and representatives of the Provincial Military Party Standing Committee presented flowers to congratulate the Provincial Party Secretary and Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee Nguyen Long Hai.

At the meeting, Colonel Nguyen Huu Dan, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, reported on the organization and staffing of the Provincial Military Command; the results of leadership in implementing military and defense tasks and Party building work in 2024; directions and tasks in 2025 and the implementation of plans for activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day of the Provincial Military Command.
In 2024, despite many difficulties and challenges, the Provincial Party Committee and Military Command advised Party committees and authorities at all levels to lead and direct the provincial armed forces to excellently complete local military and defense tasks.
Maintain strict implementation of combat readiness regime, maintain local political security; improve the quality of training, drills, competitions and sports events; successfully organize drills, closely implement military training and political education contents, ensuring improvement of quality and combat readiness of local armed forces.
Successfully organized the Emulation Congress for Victory of the Armed Forces at all levels for the period 2019-2024; Party and political activities had many innovations and creativity; focused on building a clean and strong Party organization.
Up to now, the goals and targets of military and defense tasks for the 2020-2025 term have been basically completed. In 2024, the Provincial Military Command was proposed to be awarded the Flag of the Ministry of National Defense; the Provincial Military Party Committee was proposed to have excellently completed its tasks.
At the conference, delegates discussed and assessed the advantages and difficulties as well as proposed solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of military and defense tasks in the coming time.

Speaking at the working session, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee Nguyen Long Hai affirmed that with the newly assigned duties and tasks, he considered this both an honor and a great responsibility, so he would strive to build solidarity, cohesion, and closely coordinate with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Military Party Committee to lead and direct the provincial armed forces to excellently fulfill the tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Party and the People.
The Provincial Party Secretary commended and congratulated the results and achievements that the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Provincial Military Command and the officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces have achieved in the past time.
At the same time, it pointed out the key tasks that the Provincial Military Party Committee needs to pay attention to and perform better in the coming time, which are: Continuing to strengthen leadership, thoroughly grasp and implement the Party's resolutions and directives on military and defense tasks; performing well the function of advising local Party committees and authorities on military and defense.
Be proactive, sensitive, grasp, forecast the situation and have effective plans to handle situations, not to be passive and surprised; regularly take care of building a comprehensively strong "exemplary and typical" military force, a clean, strong and typical provincial Military Party Committee in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres.
Promote activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day, ensuring practicality, effectiveness, and absolute safety in all aspects. Do a good job of preparing for the organization of Party congresses at all levels in the provincial military for the 2025-2030 term.
