Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, has given instructions regarding the construction of works in the beach area along Xuan Dieu Street, from Le Thanh Ton Street to opposite Fleur De Lys Hotel, Quy Nhon City.
Binh Dinh provincial leaders emphasized that the beach area opposite the Fleur De Lys Hotel is a place where many people and tourists gather to swim. Therefore, the management and use of the beach area for business and service purposes must ensure that it does not affect the common life of the community.
The Chairman of Binh Dinh Province assigned the People's Committee of Quy Nhon City to receive comments and direct the adjustment of the overall design plan of the site and construction architecture of the works, ensuring compliance with the requirements of the approved plan for auctioning the right to use the beach site.
Binh Dinh provincial leaders noted that the implementation of the project must not affect the community's access to the sea, must not block the view of the sea, and must ensure aesthetic elements, creating a highlight to attract tourists .
The constructions must not be built solidly, many constructions must not be concentrated in one area, the construction density must be consistent with the approved detailed planning; the architectural plan of the construction must be beautiful, airy, and in harmony with the general landscape of the beach; there must be solutions to ensure environmental sanitation, especially the collection and treatment of domestic wastewater and solid waste; toilets (if any) must use mobile toilets.
Quy Nhon city beach is about 5km long, running from Xuan Dieu street to An Duong Vuong street.
In 2019, Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee approved the addition and local adjustment of the 1/2,000 scale zoning plan of Quy Nhon Bay tourism space.
The policy of relocating hotel buildings that block the sea view to reclaim the sea space for the community has been proposed, including: Binh Duong , Hai Au and Hoang Yen hotels.
Up to now, the province has transferred more than 43 billion VND in compensation and property support due to land acquisition of Binh Duong Hotel and land swap at a new location, this unit is building a new project.
The remaining two hotels will be relocated based on the land lease term and according to a suitable schedule.
