Responding to this proposal at the 2025 Admissions and Career Guidance Consultation Day organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Newspaper in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training and other units this morning, March 16 in Hanoi , Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha, Deputy Director of the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training, said that at present, the Ministry has no information on this issue. However, the Ministry always prepares flexible plans and depends on objective conditions.

Mr. Ha affirmed that the high school graduation exam is always prepared early and remotely. This is a national exam, taking place simultaneously in 63 provinces and cities. Therefore, each locality will not organize a high school graduation exam at a different time. Therefore, if there is a change in the scheduled exam schedule, it will take place simultaneously.

According to Mr. Ha, the exam preparation work has been decentralized to the local level. The change of exam schedule must be carefully calculated. The Ministry of Education and Training currently has no information on this issue, but in general, if it has to be changed, it must have minimal impact on the entire system, including students.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha also shared: This year's graduation scores will include exam scores and high school students' academic scores at a ratio of 50/50. Therefore, academic scores during the student's learning process are very important.

Regarding this year's high school graduation exam, Professor Nguyen Ngoc Ha said that the exam will closely follow the high school education program, mainly the content of the 12th grade program and the content that continues from grades 10, 11 to grade 12.

This year’s exam will have differentiated questions that require solving practical problems. Therefore, during the review process, candidates need to get used to reasoning and researching for any content that can be related to reality in order to meet the requirements of the exam.
