On August 5, at the National Military Training Center 4 (My Duc, Hanoi), a general training session for military parades and marches was held to prepare for the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. This was the second general training session with the participation of nearly 16,000 officers and soldiers of the Police and the Army, along with many types of modern weapons and equipment.

Nearly 16,000 officers and soldiers from the armed forces participated in the combined training, including 18 standing units and 43 walking units. This was also the second time the Police, Army and equipment units had combined training.

The comprehensive training test consists of two parts: Performing Party and State rituals and ceremonies and performing military parades.
