This is a new trick of scammers to steal Facebook accounts. The targets of bad guys are often administrators of fanpages or groups with a large number of members.

Accordingly, the scammer will approach the victim through the messaging application Messenger or Zalo, from there offering to hire them to post articles, write advertisements on fanpages or groups.
When users ask for content to post ads, bad guys will send them a file with the extension ".rar" or ".zip". In fact, these are compressed files containing malicious code.
If the victim downloads the above file and accesses it, the malware will immediately attack the computer and steal all data on the browsers, including cookies, passwords and many other information.
From the information obtained, bad guys can steal users' Facebook accounts and take over fanpages and groups that the account is managing.
According to security experts, Facebook users on computers need to be extremely vigilant when receiving files with the extension ".rar" or ".zip" sent from other accounts. However, users also need to proactively set up two-layer security to increase account security.
A report from the Department of Information Security said that in the first 6 months of 2023, the situation of online fraud in Vietnam increased by 64.78% compared to the same period last year. This figure also increased by 37.82% compared to the last 6 months of 2022.
Currently, there are 3 main groups of fraud such as brand counterfeiting, account hijacking and other combined forms. In total, there are up to 24 forms of fraud taking place in Vietnam's cyberspace.
