ChatGPT Plus and Team users got to experience the feature yesterday (October 31). Next week, business and education users will get access, while free users will have to wait a few months.
Any website or publisher that has signed on to the OpenAI partnership can appear in ChatGPT search results.
The integration of the new feature into ChatGPT comes after OpenAI raised $6.6 billion in funding, valuing the company at $157 billion; marking OpenAI's entry into the competition with the likes of Google, Microsoft Bing, and Perplexity.
