Within the framework of the ASEAN Business Awards (ABA) 2024 held in the Lao People's Democratic Republic, BRG Group Chairwoman, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga, was awarded the ASEAN-BAC Achievement Award, honoring members who have made great contributions to the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) for at least 10 years.
Only four members received this honor and Ms. Nga was the only representative of Vietnam to be honored with three other members from Singapore, Cambodia and Myanmar.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga, Chairwoman of BRG Group, was awarded the ASEAN-BAC Achievement Award within the framework of the ASEAN Business Awards (ABA) 2024.
The ASEAN-BAC Achievement Awards honor individuals who have demonstrated leadership, dedication and long-term commitment in advancing ASEAN-BAC’s mission towards regional economic integration, promoting public-private partnership, and promoting sustainable and inclusive growth across ASEAN.
All four ASEAN-BAC Achievement Award recipients are recognized for their active participation in initiatives such as trade facilitation, digital transformation, and support for the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
These are also pioneering leaders who play a leading role in developing important recommendations of ASEAN-BAC submitted to ASEAN Heads of State during dialogue sessions and in the ASEAN-BAC report submitted to ASEAN Heads of State, ASEAN Economic Ministers and ASEAN Finance Ministers and Governors of State Banks.
At the same time, Ms. Nga and the remaining 3 members have made persistent efforts to promote the core values of ASEAN-BAC in building a dynamic, connected and prosperous business community in Southeast Asia.
The ASEAN-BAC Achievement Awards highlight the value of long-term engagement and inspire new members to continue the tradition of efforts to contribute to the sustainable and inclusive development of the region.
The ASEAN Business Awards (ABA) is the official ASEAN award organized annually by ASEAN-BAC since 2007, honoring outstanding businesses and those with outstanding contributions to economic and community development in the region.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga spoke as Chairwoman of the ASEAN Business Awards (ABA) 2020.
As Chairwoman of the ASEAN Business Awards (ABA) in 2010 and 2020 when Vietnam was the host country, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga directed and managed the organization of the awards, not only bringing good impressions to guests and participating businesses but also contributing to enhancing the reputation of the ASEAN Business Awards (ABA) in the region and internationally.
