Specifically, China Central Television (CCTV) reported: "On September 15, President Xi Jinping received Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet at the Great Hall of the People in China."

However, there are still no details about the meeting between the two leaders.

This trip to Beijing is the first official visit since Mr. Hun Manet took office as Prime Minister of Cambodia, in the context that this year China-Cambodia celebrate the 65th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations.

Speaking at a press conference at Phnom Penh International Airport on September 14, Meas Sophorn, spokesman for the Cambodian Prime Minister, said that in addition to holding talks with President Xi Jinping, Hun Manet is expected to meet with Prime Minister Li Qiang and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Zhao Leji.

After that, Mr. Hun Manet will go to Nanning city to attend the 20th ASEAN-China Expo.
