The Military Command of Kien Giang province added that the unit handed over a house to Mr. Tran Van Huong - a former soldier of the Kien Hai Infantry Company, Kien Hai District Military Command, who was having difficulty with housing.

Mr. Huong currently lives in Ta Teng Hamlet (Phu Loi Commune, Giang Thanh District). The house handed over to Mr. Huong was solidly built on the family's land with an area of over 90m2 , with a corrugated iron roof and tiled floor. The house is worth over 150 million VND. Of which, the fund for building comrades' houses of the provincial military command supported 50 million VND, the remaining amount was contributed by the family.

"I am very happy because my long-standing dream of owning a new house has come true. Thank you to the locality and especially the Provincial Military Command for creating favorable conditions and supporting money for me to build the house. With this comrade's house, I will celebrate the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025 with more joy and warmth," Mr. Huong happily said.

Along with that, the Provincial Military Command handed over houses to Mr. Thi Trung Hau - former soldier of Phu My Border Guard Group, and Mr. Phan Minh Lanh - former soldier of Battalion 207, Regiment 893, who are also facing housing difficulties in Phu Loi commune.

Supporting the construction of comrades' houses during the "Military-Civilian Tet" in 2025 is a meaningful work, and takes care of the lives of military officers and soldiers who are working or have retired, demobilized, or discharged from the army and have difficult housing circumstances.
