Is it possible to study college in Hanoi with 40 million?

VnExpressVnExpress13/09/2023

I have saved 40 million VND, I don't know if it's enough to pay for studying at a private college and living in the capital.

I am 20 years old this year, I graduated from high school in 2021, I passed the university entrance exam but I was not supported to go to school. My mother passed away when I was in 8th grade, I currently live with my half-brother.

I plan to enroll in Hotel Management at Vietnam-USA College in Hanoi next year. My brother and sister-in-law objected, but I still decided to study. This means I have to be self-reliant.

I have saved about 40 million VND. Is this enough to cover the living expenses in the capital? I plan to go to Hanoi and combine studying and working part-time. How will that be?

I hope those who are studying Hotel Management can give me some advice.

Thanks a lot.
