At the same time, proactively fighting and preventing all plots and activities of hostile forces, preventing riots, terrorism, sabotage that disrupt security and order, and preventing the formation of opposition political organizations. In particular, the most prominent mark is advising on the organization of housing construction for poor Catholics living along the river; Propaganda and mobilization to hang the national flag at places of worship and private homes of religious followers reached 99%.

In the field of crime prevention and control, we have focused on implementing drastic and synchronous professional measures; proactively grasping, analyzing, and forecasting the situation closely and accurately; organizing many peak periods of attacking and suppressing crimes, focusing on hitting lines, organizations, gangs, and subjects of criminal activities; basically eliminating dangerous criminal gangs, "black credit" activities, and criminal gangs involved in the economic sector. Resolutely directing and proactively identifying new methods and tricks of crime, especially crimes operating in cyberspace, using high technology. The fight against and prevention of drug-related crimes has become increasingly practical and effective, with the motto "sticking to the addicts to fight", from addicts to detecting and expanding the subjects of buying and selling, points, gathering places, and illegal trading lines in the area; Establish a joint project to combat drug crimes, which has eliminated many long-standing complications; many major cases have been commended by the Ministry of Public Security .

From 2020 to present, Thanh Hoa Police force has detected and arrested 2,722 cases, 5,375 criminals and violators of drug laws, seized 62.35 kg of heroin, 213 kg of synthetic drugs, 160 kg of plastic, opium poppy... Timely prevented 3,375 cases of fraud and appropriation of property; arrested and prosecuted 468 cases, 1,039 subjects involved in "black credit" crimes; prosecuted 747 cases, 1,600 defendants for economic, corruption, position, and environmental crimes. In particular, from the end of June 2025 to present, the province has continuously fought to eradicate 3 gangs, arrested 30 subjects whose activities have destabilized the investment environment, socio-economic development of the province and caused public outrage...

Since 2018, Thanh Hoa Police has effectively implemented Project 106 of the Central Party Committee of the Police on "arranging the organizational apparatus towards streamlining, effective and efficient operation"; implementing the project "Arranging regular police officers to take on the positions of commune police in Thanh Hoa province". In 2008, the President signed a decision to confer the title of "Heroic Unit of the People's Armed Forces" for the period 1997-2007 on Thanh Hoa Provincial Police.
