Norwegian Princess arrives in Australia, begins study abroad journey at the University of Sydney

(Dan Tri) - Princess Ingrid Alexandra of the Norwegian Royal Family has officially arrived in Australia to begin her studies at the University of Sydney.

In an official statement, the 21-year-old princess expressed her excitement: “I am very much looking forward to starting my studies at the University of Sydney. The experience of being a student is extremely interesting for me, I believe I will learn a lot.”

Before starting her study abroad journey, Princess Ingrid Alexandra participated in military training at the Engineer Battalion of the Northern Brigade.

Princess Ingred Alexandra is the eldest child of Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit. Princess Ingrid Alexandra's choice to study in Australia, instead of her usual European countries, is seen as a bold decision, showing the princess's progressive spirit and openness in observing the world. During her studies, the princess will live in the school's dormitory.
