On July 16, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City announced that after 2 years of coordinating with local units to implement the Plan to build green, clean, and environmentally friendly residential areas, the city has recognized 1,722 residential areas, reaching a rate of more than 172%.

At the same time, the city also recognized 264/312 wards, communes and towns that met the criteria of "Clean, green and environmentally friendly wards, communes and towns" at the district level...

In addition, the City Front system also strives to innovate the content and methods of operation, improve the quality of patriotic emulation campaigns and movements. Strengthen propaganda and mobilize all sectors and classes of people to implement the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", the campaign "Ho Chi Minh City residents do not litter on the streets and canals, for a clean city and to reduce flooding" with many effective models and methods.
