Cua Ong Coal Selection Company overcomes damage after typhoon Yagi

Storm No. 3 caused severe property damage to a number of families of employees of Cua Ong Coal Selection Company. Promoting the tradition of mutual support, the Company supported 132 million VND to 16 families affected by storm No. 3.

The fallen trees were sawed, trimmed, collected, classified and brought to the assembly point by the Youth Union.

Accordingly, based on the level of damage and circumstances of each family, the Company will support the families of employees who suffered damage from 2 million VND/family to 20 million VND/family, with a total support amount of 132 million VND.

In other eligible cases, the Company will propose to TKV Trade Union to support house construction and repair according to the Program from the "Trade Union Shelter" Fund as well as support employees from the unit's funds for employees to have stable housing and peace of mind at work.

TKV Trade Union leaders and Company leaders visited and encouraged workers' families affected by the storm.

With the direction and management of the Group's leaders, immediately after the storm, the Company's Board of Directors closely, promptly and urgently started to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3, gradually stabilizing production. The Company mobilized maximum human resources and machinery to focus on overcoming the consequences. Units focused on repairing internal electrical systems, ready to connect to the grid to serve production. At the same time, mobilized workers and the Company's Youth Union to participate in cleaning up and clearing the vital railway line for transporting and consuming coal of the unit. Inspected the entire railway safety corridor, information system, train signals and routes, and repaired damage caused by fallen trees.

The Company's employees immediately began to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3, gradually stabilizing production.

The company continues to strengthen and safely cover coal warehouses to ensure quality for customers; inspect SL1 pouring machine to put the equipment into service for consumption.

Up to now, the power grid system has been restored to ensure safety for production and business activities, trees have been trimmed and collected, and the lives of the Company's employees are gradually stabilizing.
