Schools in Ngu Hanh Son district ( Da Nang city) have completed preparations for facilities, purchased teaching equipment, and decorated the campus and cleaned the school.
According to Ms. Truong Thi Yen Nga - Principal of Pham Hong Thai Primary School (Hoa Quy Ward), in the new school year 2024-2025, the school has 39 classes with 1,466 students. Of which, 297 first graders are divided into 8 classes, and the school will arrange for them to study in newly built classrooms to help them have the best conditions to adapt when entering the new school level.
According to Ms. Truong Thi Yen Nga, up to now, the teaching staff at the school has been recruited and fully supplemented, ensuring 100% teaching and learning 2 sessions/day. Environmental sanitation work inside and outside the classroom is focused on.
Teachers and staff of the entire school proactively cleaned the campus, classrooms and prepared other necessary conditions to help parents feel secure in sending their children to class.
At Huynh Ba Chanh Secondary School (Hoa Hai ward), the work of preparing facilities and teaching staff for the new school year was proactively carried out quite early.
To ensure the best conditions for the school year, the school urgently completed all preparations for facilities, equipment and learning materials, ready for the opening day of the school year with the highest determination.
Mr. Chung Van Hung - Principal of Huynh Ba Chanh Secondary School said that in the 2024-2025 school year, the school has 43 classes with 1,863 students, of which grade 6 has 515 students divided into 12 classes.
According to Mr. Hung, up to now, the work of repairing equipment, tables and chairs, painting fences, gates and installing new fire prevention and fighting equipment has been completed.
According to Mr. Dang Phuoc Truong - Head of the Department of Education and Training of Ngu Hanh Son district, in the 2024-2025 school year, the implementation of investment in facilities to prepare for the new school year is guaranteed to be in accordance with the set plan.
According to Mr. Truong, the 2024-2025 school year is the year to continue implementing the 2018 General Education Program (according to Circular No. 32/2018/TT-BGDDT dated December 26, 2018) deployed in all grades from grade 1 to grade 9.
In the 2024-2025 school year, the district will enroll 6,274 students at all levels from preschool, primary school, and secondary school; bringing the total number of preschool children and public primary and secondary school students in the district to 17,790, with 496 classes.
