Da Nang City has just announced the innovation zoning plan.

Accordingly, the 1/2000 scale innovation zoning plan has a total area of about 3,770 hectares in three localities: Ngu Hanh Son district, Cam Le district and Hoa Vang district.

According to the plan, by 2030, this area will have a population of about 233,000 people, with the nature of a training center associated with a university urban area, an innovation center, a software park, and a regional medical center.

The central area of the innovation zone has an area of about 696 hectares, including typical spaces such as university villages, typical functional areas, multidisciplinary and multi-disciplinary education and training centers, and scientific research, planned in the direction of smart urban areas and green urban areas.

The innovation zoning plan has a total area of about 3,770 hectares.

Regional medical center, forming an international hospital linking with medical universities and medical facilities in the area. In addition, there is a commercial service space, mixed residential and service along Nam Ky Khoi Nghia street.

The Innovation Zone planning will prioritize the construction of new traffic routes and different-level intersections to enhance connectivity.

Notably, in this zoning plan, priority will be given to investing in key projects such as Hoa Xuan Creative Space, University Village Urban Area, Riverside Urban Area southwest of Cau Do Water Plant; social infrastructure works such as Hoa Phuoc Wholesale Market, universities, Danang Hospital 2, high-quality general and specialized hospitals, etc.
