On July 3, Cuu Long University held a conference to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation for all cadres, lecturers, experts, staff and workers of the university. Speaking at the conference, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, emphasized the key role of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the rapid and sustainable development of the country. He highly appreciated the efforts of Cuu Long University in concretizing Resolution 57 and Resolution 45 on building a team of intellectuals; at the same time, he requested the school to continue to promote its strengths and actively contribute to the development of Vinh Long province (including Ben Tre, Vinh Long and Tra Vinh provinces) and the Mekong Delta region.

Reporting at the conference, Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Minh Cu, Rector of Cuu Long University, said that in the period of 2020 - 2025, although it is a private school and does not receive funding for basic research, the school still proactively invests from 3 - 5 billion VND/year in science and technology activities. In the past 5 years, the school has implemented 78 basic-level projects, 214 faculty-level projects and 149 student projects; at the same time, compiled 164 textbooks for training...
