South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol and First Lady Kim Keon-hee arrived in Hanoi on the morning of June 22, beginning a three-day state visit.

On the first day, the South Korean President and his wife participated in many sideline activities, including visiting Hanoi National University and interacting with Korean language students.

"I know that Korean has become the choice of many young people in Vietnam, not only students but also high school students. I am also very impressed when I hear you pronounce Korean correctly," Mr. Yoon said at the event.

"As the head of the Republic of Korea, I feel more responsible to promote the relationship between the two countries, especially in educating the young generation," the President emphasized.
