But recently, Blizzard has made an announcement that gives fans some peace of mind about the development and release of the latest Diablo game.
Diablo IV Has Officially 'Gone Gold'
Shared via the official Diablo Twitter account, Blizzard has confirmed that early development on Diablo IV is now complete and has reached Gone Gold status. As we prepare for its June release date, Blizzard will no doubt continue to work on the game and will likely have a major update on day one.
"Gone Gold is a major milestone for the Diablo IV development team, who have been working so hard to create the next installment in the Diablo franchise. This is a meaningful step toward our June 6 launch," Diablo GM Rod Fergusson said in a press release accompanying the announcement.
Gone Gold is not a new concept in the gaming industry these days, with many titles already released and about to be released. However, Diablo IV 's Gone Gold is an exciting milestone and good news for fans who are waiting for its official launch on June 6th on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
