Diana Unicharm joins hands to support people in flood-hit areas in the North

In order to join hands with the Government and the community to promptly support people in the Northern provinces who are seriously affected by super typhoon Yagi, Diana Unicharm has donated more than 1.2 billion VND through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to localities and people in the Northern flood-hit areas.

In the context of storm No. 3 causing serious damage to people and property, promoting the good tradition and spirit of sharing "mutual love, the whole leaf covers the torn leaf", Diana Unicharm's board of directors immediately mobilized all officers and employees to donate to support, contributing to reducing difficulties and giving strength to people in the storm and flood areas.

After only 1 day of launching, Diana Unicharm has donated more than 1.2 billion VND through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. Of which, the enterprise initially supported 1 billion VND and Diana Unicharm staff donated 211 million VND.

Ms. Koshino Matsumura - Director of Consumer Marketing at Diana Unicharm Joint Stock Company - said: "As a leading Japanese enterprise in the personal hygiene care industry, Diana Unicharm deeply understands the difficulties and great losses that people in storm-hit areas are facing. We wish to join hands with the Government and people of Vietnam to support people in the northern provinces to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and quickly return to normal life. Although it has also suffered many losses in the product distribution system, Diana Unicharm is committed to keeping prices stable and making efforts to fully and promptly supply products such as Diana sanitary napkins, Bobby baby diapers, Caryn adult diapers... to the northern provinces affected by the storm, contributing to protecting the health and ensuring essential needs for the people here."

Along with production and business activities, in line with the 2030 corporate vision, Diana Unicharm has implemented many community programs aiming to realize a symbiotic, connected, and sustainably developed society. Previously, during the Covid-19 outbreak nationwide, the company pioneered in supporting essential hygiene care products for medical staff, patients, and supporting the Government in purchasing equipment and vaccines to fight the epidemic.
