Nha Trang University's highest standard score is 30/40

Marketing and English Language Department of Nha Trang University has a standard score of 30 on a scale of 40.

On the afternoon of July 7, Nha Trang University announced the admission score based on high school transcripts. This is the first year the school has recruited students this way.

The admission score is the average score of four subjects in 6 semesters of high school. Of which, three compulsory subjects are Math, Literature and English, the remaining subject depends on the admission combination of each major. There are 11 combinations in total. In addition, for some majors, the school stipulates an additional conditional score for English.

According to this calculation, the maximum score is 40. Marketing and English Language both have a benchmark score of 30, with the condition that the English score is 6 or 7 or higher. Some other majors with a benchmark score of 28 are Business Administration, Law, Accounting, Marine Science , Information Technology.

The majors with a benchmark score of 22 are Aquatic Science, Aquatic Management, Aquaculture, Thermal Engineering, and Mechatronic Engineering. Candidates with an average score of 5.5 in each subject were admitted.

The standard scores for transcripts of Nha Trang University's majors are as follows:

Dr. To Van Phuong, Head of Training Department, Nha Trang University, said that this year the school will enroll 3,600 students, similar to last year, but added two new admission methods: considering the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Hanoi National University and considering high school transcripts. In addition, the school still considers admission based on graduation exam scores and direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training .

In 2022, Nha Trang University will have the highest standard score for the high school graduation exam at 21 for English Language majors, and the lowest standard score for majors in the fields of Aquaculture and Environment at 15.5 points.
