Actor of the movie Saigon Special Forces passed away

Sharing with VTC News, artist Hong To confirmed that actor Aly Dung passed away on the evening of December 27 at his home after a long battle with leukemia.

On the morning of December 29, his coffin was cremated at Binh Hung Hoa Cremation Center, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City. Aly Dung's coffin was laid to rest at Phap Hoi Pagoda, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City.

Actor Aly Dung passed away after a long battle with cancer, at the age of 72.

According to artist Hong To, actor Aly Dung had no family so his friends helped take care of his funeral. Before his death, the actor was hospitalized for more than 2 weeks at Gia Dinh People's Hospital, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City. However, his illness progressed rapidly and he did not survive due to his old age and poor health.

“An artist with more than 50 years of art experience, but he was unlucky and had difficulties in his old age, had no home, no close relatives.

Hong To would like to share with friends, colleagues and colleagues who knew him in his lifetime, please take some time to light incense for him and bid him farewell to the eternal world," artist Hong To shared.

Colleagues were heartbroken when the actor passed away without a home or close relatives.

Actor Aly Dung was born in 1950 in Ho Chi Minh City. He played a soldier in the movie Saigon Special Forces and several other supporting roles.
