In recent times, the work of land management, use, natural resources and environmental protection has been led and directed by the Party Committee and leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade to implement and achieve positive results. The unit has implemented solutions to build and develop the industrial sector in a modern, integrated and environmentally friendly direction. The updating, registration, allocation of land use quotas and land allocation for energy projects and industrial cluster infrastructure projects have been well implemented, contributing to putting the projects into operation on schedule, contributing to the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, responding to climate change and protecting the environment. The Department has supported the establishment of a number of high-tech agricultural farms serving the processing industry; a number of processing enterprises have invested in innovating and synchronizing equipment and technology to create high-quality products, effectively applying post-harvest preservation technology to serve product processing, business, linking production, processing, building agricultural product brands and forming commodity value chains. The rate of industrial clusters with centralized wastewater treatment systems is 100%. Industrial production projects all invest in waste treatment systems, ensuring that waste discharge meets standards before being discharged into the environment. Polluting production activities no longer exist in residential areas.

Concluding the working session, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council highly appreciated the efforts and sense of responsibility of the Party Committee of the Department of Industry and Trade in the leadership, direction and effective implementation of natural resources and environmental protection in the past time. He requested the Party Committee and leaders of the unit to continue to strengthen the leadership and direction to effectively implement the tasks and targets set out in Resolution No. 21/NQ-TU; review and evaluate specific goals, targets and tasks under the functions and management of the sector; analyze and clarify difficulties, obstacles and causes, to have solutions to overcome and implement well. Focus on propagating and disseminating the Party's policies and legal regulations on land, natural resources and environmental protection. Review the infrastructure of industrial clusters to have solutions to upgrade and improve to attract investment. Pay attention to managing mineral exploitation; ensure the environment in markets. Strengthening the application of digital technology to improve the quality of management activities in the fields of natural resources and environment protection, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks set forth in Resolution No. 21/NQ-TU.
