Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 58/CV-HPN, dated August 2, 2024 of the Standing Committee of the Women's Union of Tan Son district on organizing activities to care for orphans and children in difficult circumstances and continuing to promote the role of the Women's Union in supporting, caring for and accompanying orphans, children in difficult circumstances and children with disabilities.
Children in difficult circumstances are encouraged to try hard to study, practice, and overcome difficulties to strive for a bright future.
On the occasion of the new school year 2024 - 2025, the Women's Union at all levels of Tan Son district presented 44 gifts with a total value of nearly 11 million VND to encourage, support and motivate children to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies.
In addition, the Women's Union of Tan Son district has consulted and proposed to the Women's Union of Phu Tho province to award scholarships from the "Helping children go to school" scholarship fund to 6 orphans, children in difficult circumstances, and good students. Among them, Ha Xuan Kha, a 12th grade student at Tan Son High School, received a scholarship of 5 million VND and 5 secondary school students received a scholarship of 2 million VND/student.
