Bringing Ben Moi bridge connecting two provinces of Nam Dinh

The investor is making efforts to complete the final procedures, striving to put the Ben Moi bridge project connecting Nam Dinh and Ninh Binh provinces into operation before the Lunar New Year 2025.


Informing Giao thong Newspaper, Mr. Le Quang Thao, Executive Director of the project to renovate weak bridges and connecting bridges on national highways (under Project Management Board 2) said that at present, Ben Moi bridge (1 of 6 bridges within the project scope) has basically completed the construction and installation items as required.

"The investor is actively coordinating with relevant parties to complete procedures and traffic organization plans to serve the acceptance of competent authorities, striving to put the project into operation before the Lunar New Year 2025," Mr. Thao informed.

Ben Moi Bridge belongs to the XL04 package of the project to renovate weak bridges and connecting bridges on national highways (phase 1), located on National Highway 38B, a large bridge over the Day River in the territory of district Y Yen, Nam Dinh province and district Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh province.

The project has a contract value of nearly 361 billion VND. Of which, the main bridge section is more than 648m long (to the end of the abutment) and is invested with a scale of 2 lanes for motor vehicles. The road at both ends of the bridge is invested with a width of 9m.
