On September 18, the school gave Mr. NTH a probationary position as head of the Information Technology department.
Mr. NTH's PhD is said to be fake.
When submitting the application, this person provided the school with a doctorate degree under the name NTH (born August 13, 1981), majoring in computer science , awarded in 2021 with the diploma number QH: 22086798528xx.
In addition, Mr. H also provided the school with a master's degree in information technology awarded in 2010. Both of the above degrees show that the place of award is the University of Natural Sciences, Ho Chi Minh City National University.
The leader of Vietnam College of Industry and Trade said that according to the recruitment process, after receiving the application, the school will verify the candidate's degree by sending the doctoral degree in the name of NTH to the University of Natural Sciences, Ho Chi Minh City National University for verification. The verification results showed that the information on this degree was not consistent with the stored data.
Faced with the above information, the Vietnam College of Industry and Commerce called Mr. H. to work, but he still insisted that his degree was granted by the University of Natural Sciences. In early November, Mr. H submitted a resignation letter citing family matters.
According to information obtained by reporters from sources at other universities, Mr. NTH also used the above degree to apply for jobs and teach at several other universities in Ho Chi Minh City.
