After a full explanation of the procedure, Mr. H. underwent a frenulum reconstruction procedure in about 20 minutes. At the same time, he was given antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs, and hemostatic drugs for 7 days. After 7 days, the stitches healed and almost returned to normal. However, the doctor advised him to abstain from sex for another 2 weeks to ensure the stability of the stitches.
According to Dr. Cuong, a torn frenulum can cause serious complications if not treated properly. Therefore, seeking advice and treatment from medical experts is extremely important, and should not be embarrassed to let the condition worsen.
