EVN organizes training program for level 2 managers in the Northern region

(Chinhphu.vn) - EVN Deputy General Director Vo Quang Lam affirmed that in the context of the Group promoting digital transformation, energy transformation and restructuring the management model, building a team of middle-level managers with capacity, innovative thinking and high adaptability is an urgent requirement.

On July 29, in Hanoi , Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) in collaboration with the School of Business and Administration - Hanoi National University (HSB) organized the opening ceremony of the training program for level 2 managers (Elite MBA course 10), Northern region class.

Attending the opening ceremony were EVN Deputy General Director Vo Quang Lam and Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Dinh Phi, Principal of HSB.

Elite MBA class 10 in the Northern region has 24 students, who are level 2 managers and those in the planning for level 2 managers. The training duration of the program is 13 days, focusing on topics such as: Strategic management, finance, human resources, risk management, innovative leadership and digital technology application in business operations.

At the ceremony, EVN Deputy General Director Vo Quang Lam emphasized the key role of training and human resource development in the Group's sustainable development strategy.

Mr. Vo Quang Lam affirmed that in the context of the Group promoting digital transformation, energy transformation and restructuring the management model, building a team of middle-level managers with capacity, innovative thinking and high adaptability is an urgent requirement. At the same time, he also expressed his appreciation for the responsible, dedicated and effective companionship of the School of Management and Business in the Group's journey of building quality human resources over the past years.

EVN Deputy General Director suggested that trainees promote a positive learning spirit, proactively acquire knowledge, and consider this an opportunity to connect, exchange experiences and improve capacity, contributing to effectively meeting the requirements of operation, organization and development in the new context.

Right after the opening ceremony, Mr. Vo Quang Lam directly delivered a lecture on Digital Transformation in Vietnam Electricity Group and shared many practical experiences from the perspective of Group-level management and operations.

Every year, EVN organizes training programs for management staff at levels 1, 2, 3, and 4 according to the framework program issued by EVN, in order to develop high-quality human resources, ensure the transition, continuity, and stability between generations of staff, meet the requirements and assigned tasks, and contribute to EVN's rapid, effective, and sustainable development.

Elite MBA is a high-level corporate governance training program, jointly implemented by EVN and HSB since 2019. Up to now, the training program for level 2 managers has had 10 courses organized, with the participation of hundreds of level 2 managers throughout the Group.
