Nearly 600 students participate in Korean Cultural Experience Day

The program attracted nearly 600 middle school and high school students and university students in Da Nang city.

Korean Cultural Experience Day 2025 includes sightseeing activities; music experiences such as Ganggangsullae dance, fan dance, traditional Samulnori musical instrument performance; watching Taewondo martial arts performances, transforming and checking in with Hanbok costumes, exploring the world of Korean cuisine; making handicrafts (fan decoration, origami art...).

Thereby creating a fun and meaningful space, helping students better understand Korean culture and people; promoting cultural exchange and expanding cooperation in the field of education, contributing to strengthening the friendship between Vietnam and Korea.

According to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Long - Rector of Danang University of Foreign Languages, the school, as a leading training and research institution in language and culture, always focuses on connecting students with diverse cultures around the world. In recent years, the school has continuously expanded international cooperation, including close cooperation with the Korean Language Center in Ho Chi Minh City under the Korean Ministry of Education.

Since 2023, the two sides have implemented many meaningful programs such as Korean teacher training courses, free Korean language classes and other training activities, contributing to improving the quality of teaching and popularizing Korean in the Central region.

“Korean Cultural Experience Day is a meaningful event for students in Da Nang and Quang Nam, especially students of Da Nang University of Foreign Languages. Through this, it not only creates opportunities for students to interact and exchange with Korean culture but also contributes to attracting their interest in majors related to Korean language.

At the same time, it is also an important premise to discover and nurture talents, prepare for enrollment as well as national and international Korean language competitions in the future" - Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Long shared.
