The conference was held in both direct and online formats, connecting to 135 People's Committees of communes and wards across the province.
The training content focuses on implementing two groups of interconnected public services currently applied on the civil status software according to Decree No. 63/2024/ND-CP, including: "Birth registration, permanent residence registration, health insurance card issuance for children under 6 years old" and "Death registration, permanent residence cancellation, burial and death benefits settlement". These are essential public services, directly related to people's rights.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Truong Cong Hoai, Deputy Chief of Office of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, said: The conference aims to equip knowledge and professional skills for the team of cadres, civil servants and public employees at the commune level, helping to effectively and smoothly implement administrative procedures, especially with interconnected public services.
In addition, the conference also provided instructions on how to look up administrative procedures on the National Public Service Portal, and at the same time deployed content on the management and operation of commune-level electronic information pages according to Decree No. 42/2022/ND-CP, in order to improve the quality of propaganda work at the grassroots level.
At the training session, many delegates participated in discussions, shared experiences, and contributed to resolving difficulties and obstacles in the process of receiving and handling documents locally.
