"During the exploration process, we will carefully calculate and evaluate so that when implementing, there will be harmony between types of vehicles," said Mr. Nguyen Truong Son.

Previously, the SGGP newspaper published on August 2 carried an article entitled Installing 30km/h speed limit signs for electric vehicles in Gia Lai: Legal, but unreasonable, reflecting that the installation of 30km/h speed limit signs 24/7 for all vehicles on Xuan Dieu Street is inappropriate and impractical.
In particular, the regulations were issued to manage tourist electric vehicles, but applied uniformly to all means of transport, creating many opposing opinions.
After the article, the Department of Construction of Gia Lai province accepted, updated, adjusted and installed additional signs that only apply the above sign from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. on Xuan Dieu street.

The leaders of the Department of Construction highly appreciated the press's reflection and said that in the coming time, the unit will carefully survey and grasp opinions and contributions from the community to implement more harmoniously and appropriately. Along with that, the unit will consult some localities developing tourism to implement the plan of limiting the speed to 30km/h, in order to manage the operation of tourist electric vehicles in accordance with regulations and more safely.
According to the previous proposal of the Department of Construction of Gia Lai province, it is expected that the unit will install speed limit signs of 30km/h on 15 roads in the wards of Quy Nhon, Quy Nhon Nam, Quy Nhon Dong and Nhon Chau commune.
In particular, many major traffic axes such as An Duong Vuong, Nguyen Tat Thanh, Nguyen Hue, Le Hong Phong... will also apply the above speed limit for each section, each lane and specific time frame.
