After more than 3 months of official operation, by the end of October 2023, the individual corporate bond market had a total of 451 corporate bond codes of 114 issuers registered for trading on the trading system at the Hanoi Stock Exchange, of which 334 corporate bond codes registered for trading in October 2023.
The issuers with the largest value of individual corporate bonds registered for trading include Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank ( HDBANK ) with VND 21,920 billion/27 bond codes, Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank with VND 19,950 billion/10 bond codes;
Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank 18,305 billion VND/42 bond codes, Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade 14,955 billion VND/35 bond codes and Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development 13,255 billion VND/20 bond codes.
In October 2023, the total trading volume of individual corporate bonds in the whole market reached 102,685,383 bonds, equivalent to a trading value of VND 29,292.27 billion.
On average, trading volume reached more than 4.66 million bonds/session, trading value reached more than 1,331.47 billion VND/session, 2.5 times higher than September.
Of which, the bond with the highest transaction value is the bond of Lan Viet Real Estate Company Limited with 3,827.1 billion VND, followed by the bond of Luxury Living Furniture Trading Company Limited with 3,469.5 billion VND;
Bonds of Vinfast Production and Trading Joint Stock Company with VND 2,226 billion, bonds of Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development with VND 2,033.1 billion and bonds of Phu Tho Land Joint Stock Company with VND 1,771.4 billion.
In October 2023, the private corporate bond market will have 7 new trading members including Mirae Asset Securities JSC (Vietnam), HD Securities JSC, Rong Viet Securities JSC, and Ho Chi Minh City Securities JSC;
Vietcap Securities JSC, SHINHAN Vietnam Securities Company Limited and Stanley Brothers Securities JSC, bringing the total number of trading members to 20 members.
In the primary market, the total number of registered issuances in October 2023 was 40 domestic registrations with a total registered value of VND 45,746 billion.
The total number of successful issuances in the month was 42 with a total issuance value of VND 44,894 billion, an average issuance term of 3.9 years, and an average issuance interest rate of 8.38%, all of which were domestic issuances .
