DNO - On the afternoon of March 14, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance adjusted the retail prices of petroleum products according to the cycle. Accordingly, RON92 and RON95 gasoline both decreased, while oil prices increased.

After the adjustment period, RON95 gasoline price decreased by 10 VND/liter, down to 23,540 VND/liter; RON92 gasoline decreased by 20 VND/liter, down to 22,490 VND/liter.
On the other hand, the prices of petroleum products increased simultaneously. Specifically, the price of diesel increased by 70 VND/liter, to 20,540 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 100 VND/liter, to 20,700 VND/liter; fuel oil increased by 300 VND/kg, with a new price of 15,430 VND/kg.
Since the beginning of the year, the regulatory agency has made 11 adjustments, including 6 increases, 4 decreases, 1 decrease in gasoline prices, and an increase in oil prices.
During this adjustment period, the regulatory agency will not set aside or spend from the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund (BOG) for gasoline, diesel, and kerosene products, except for fuel oil, which is set aside at VND300/kg.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, the world oil market in this management period (from March 7 to 13) is affected by factors such as: China's CPI has increased but is forecast to increase in the short term, US commercial oil inventories have decreased more sharply than forecast... causing world oil prices in recent days to fluctuate between increases and decreases.
