(Dan Tri) - Authorities have just extinguished a fire and rescued two victims trapped in a burning house in Long Bien district on the night of November 21.
On November 22, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Hanoi City Police informed that at around 10:15 p.m. on November 21, a fire broke out at a house in Group 12, Thach Ban Ward, Long Bien District.

After receiving the information, the Command Information Center dispatched the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force of Long Bien District Police to coordinate with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hanoi Police to the scene to organize fire fighting.
At the scene, police determined that someone was trapped on the upper floor of the house, the roller shutter door was slammed shut and could not be opened. Authorities then deployed a fire hose through the fire ladder to the second floor, and used a machine to cut the first floor roller shutter door to release the smoke outside.
At the same time, the fire police force quickly approached the 2nd and 3rd floors of the burning house, reassured and guided, and assisted the 2 trapped people to move safely outside using the fire ladder.
At about 22:46 the same day, the fire was completely extinguished.
According to the police, initial statistics show that some items were burned in the attic of the house with a burned area of about 5 square meters; there were no human casualties. The cause of the fire is being clarified.
