At the training session, Mr. Le Minh Tuan, Deputy Director of the Copyright Office, guided and updated the system of legal documents in state management of performing arts activities for delegates and students.
Many questions surrounding administrative procedures and processes in the performing arts sector have been answered.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy, Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Chi Linh City, asked a question that many people were interested in: "Currently, there are many performing activities hidden under the form of charity. How is the licensing of performing arts activities in this form carried out?"
Responding to Ms. Thuy's question, Deputy Director of the Copyright Department Le Minh Tuan affirmed that if performing arts activities in the form of charity are carried out according to local political tasks or entertainment without collecting tickets, the district level can proactively consider and give opinions. In addition to those two types, performing activities must have written approval from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
