The second season of the Human Act Prize has begun.

On the afternoon of September 23 in Hanoi , Nhan Dan newspaper announced the second season of the "Human Act Prize".

This year's award, with the theme "Creating Community", continues to seek and honor the spirit of dedication and commitment of individuals and organizations for the community across the country.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Mr. Le Quoc Minh - editor-in-chief of Nhan Dan newspaper, deputy head of the Central Propaganda Department, chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association , head of the award organizing committee - shared that in 2023, out of 129 participating projects, the organizing committee found 35 best initiatives and projects.

The projects cover all areas for the community, from sustainable development, Net Zero, livelihoods, ... to combating the effects of natural disasters, storms and floods, overcoming the consequences of war, minimizing the effects of climate change ...

According to Mr. Minh, what the award has brought is that community projects continue to be deployed and initiated across the country.

Explaining further about the theme of Community Creation of this year's award, journalist and social activist Tran Mai Anh - a member of the Human Act Prize jury - said that the most valuable thing about the Human Act Prize is not only to honor initiatives for the community. Along with the awards is the spreading of inspiration, experience and knowledge in the field of social activities.

"The award sows seeds, so that we have a whole forest of actions for the community," journalist Mai Anh hopes.
