Vietnam has strengths in developing perennial industrial crops due to its diverse and suitable soil, climate and crop ecosystem. In order to introduce the beauty and economic value of Vietnam's strong industrial crops, the Ministry of Information and Communications has decided to issue a series of stamps on this topic.

Introducing the tea tree stamp set.

In particular, tea is one of the main crops in many localities across the country, with many large-scale growing and production areas, such as: Thai Nguyen; Son La; Phu Tho; Lam Dong... Tea products not only serve domestic consumption but are also exported to many markets around the world , bringing stable income to localities, contributing to affirming the position and competitiveness of Vietnamese agricultural products in the world market.

The “Tea Tree” stamp set is designed using graphic methods, with 2 stamp designs depicting the process of formation and growth from seeds, trees, flowers, fruits… and producing finished tea products in daily life. The Block design depicts ancient tea trees grown in a natural environment, with a fresh climate in the highlands… from raw materials harvested by hand to create the unique Shan Tuyet tea product of Vietnam; the background of the block depicts the image of Long Coc tea hill (Phu Tho) famous for its landscape as well as tea material area.

The stamp set was designed by artist Nguyen Du (Vietnam Post Corporation), with a stamp size of 32 x 43 mm and a block size of 90 x 80 mm, and will be available on the postal network from May 21, 2024 to December 31, 2025.
