Support from the Fatherland Front and organizations and individuals in Ha Tinh will help Dien Bien and the northwestern mountainous provinces solve the housing shortage for poor households.

The project "Mobilizing support for building solidarity houses for poor households in Dien Bien province towards the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024)" was developed and implemented by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Accordingly, the project focuses on mobilizing resources to build 7,000 - 8,000 solidarity houses for poor and near-poor households in some Northwestern provinces, including 5,000 houses in Dien Bien province alone. The support level is 50 million VND/house; the total estimated cost of mobilizing support is about 350 - 400 billion VND.
On May 13, 2023, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held a launching ceremony calling on agencies, businesses, philanthropists, and people from all walks of life at home and abroad to actively respond, contribute their efforts and money to join hands to implement the project.
Ha Tinh province attended the online launching ceremony to support the construction of solidarity houses for poor households in Dien Bien province and the Northwestern provinces in May 2023.
Responding to the launch, the Mobilization Committee of the Fund "For the Poor" of Ha Tinh province issued Decision No. 18/QD-BVĐ dated October 2, 2023 on the allocation of the Fund "For the Poor". Accordingly, it supports more than 2 billion VND to build houses for poor households in Dien Bien province and the Northwestern provinces.
This is the amount of money donated by the “For the Poor” Fund of 13 districts, towns, cities and organizations and individuals in the province. The amount has been transferred by the Provincial “For the Poor” Fund Mobilization Committee to the account of the Central “For the Poor” Fund Mobilization Committee, contributing to helping localities solve the housing shortage for poor households, improving the effectiveness of poverty reduction work nationwide.
