Inspired by outer space, designer Ha Thanh Viet challenged himself to create complex, elaborate costumes combining many types of materials. To create the image of a sexy, sharp, and impressive female warrior for H'Hen Nie, he brought a series of designs made from shiny satin fabric combined with wings and armor made from faux metal or thin metal and feathers.
The designer from Binh Dinh will have his first solo show on November 22. The event marks a turning point in his design career and is also an opportunity for him to officially launch his own fashion brand, which was established in 2022. In the Vietnamese fashion industry, the 9X has been successful with many local brands such as White Plan and Ar Mous.
Fly Me to the Moon is highly appreciated for expressing a new spirit, looking towards the future while still maintaining the inherent fashion style of the male designer.
The designer said that Fly Me to the Moon is not just a collection but also a symbol of creativity, exploration and the desire to overcome human limitations. Through the collection, he wants to invite the audience and fashionistas to explore the mysteries of the moon and reach for the dream of reaching the stars.
At the show, he will introduce 80 designs combining artistic style and ready to wear. The collection is a harmonious and impressive combination of many different materials from linen, cotton, satin, canvas, sequins to metal or tree, bark...
The designer said he had been thinking about this project for a long time but only had a short time to complete it due to waiting for many factors to come together. Over the past two months, he and his team have been working day and night and are now in the final stages of completion.
Sharing the reason for choosing H'Hen Niê as the inspirational face for the collection, the 9X designer said that the journey of the Ede beauty queen not only brings pride to Vietnam but also affirms the value of perseverance and the desire to overcome fate. Therefore, the Top 5 Miss Universe 2018 is a role model that encourages everyone to dare to dream and strive to overcome barriers in life and explore their own limits.
