Speaking at the event, Ms. Pham Thu Hang - Deputy Director of the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations (Ministry of Home Affairs) - assessed that the name change shows that VBA is catching up with the trend of developing digital assets, an important field in the digital economy but also has many potential risks. In particular, VBA, together with associations, are assigned to preside over the development of "Make in Vietnam" Blockchain platforms, connecting types of blockchain networks, businesses operating on Vietnam's blockchain infrastructure, and enhancing internal competitiveness with foreign businesses.
