" It's not Martial. I'm looking at the whole team. I try to give the team more energy to get better feedback. We're in a difficult period. When I coach, it's normal that you see me being a little aggressive ," coach Erik ten Hag shared.

Earlier, British media reported that coach Erik ten Hag had an argument with the French striker. The coach was said to have shouted at the French player. Anthony Martial also signaled his displeasure with the head coach.

The coach was not happy with the situation where Martial left Fabian Schar in the first half. The ball from the Newcastle defender's feet went to Kieran Trippier and Miguel Almiron. However, the number 24 striker's shot missed the post.

Martial played on. He only came off after Man Utd conceded a goal to Anthony Gordon early in the second half. The Frenchman's performance was terrible. He did not make any impact on the team's attack and was replaced by Rasmus Hojlund.

Anthony Gordon's goal was also the only goal of the match. The Reds of Manchester suffered a 0-1 defeat and ended a streak of 3 consecutive wins in the Premier League.

Man Utd will face a tough schedule. In December, they will face many tough opponents such as Chelsea, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, West Ham and Aston Villa. Coach Erik ten Hag promises to improve the team.

" I will talk to the team about what we need to do better. I believe they are determined enough to solve the problem and come back. We have experience and must be ready for the next game. Don't be too concerned about this defeat ," said the 53-year-old coach.
