Coach Mai Duc Chung is not satisfied with the Vietnamese women's team.

In this match, the girls in red encountered many difficulties against the opponent's crowded defense.

Speaking about the match, coach Mai Duc Chung said: "Although we won, I am not satisfied. Of course, compared to the two matches that the Vietnamese women's team played against Nepal in April, they have improved a lot so far.

Nepal marked well and arranged good zonal defense, making it impossible for us to exploit the opponent's weaknesses."

In this match, the Vietnamese women's team was completely deadlocked in the first 45 minutes.

However, from the moment names like Van Su and Thanh Nha entered the field, the girls in red played better and scored two goals in the beginning of the second half.

“Recently, the Vietnamese women’s team has been focusing on the World Cup, putting all their efforts into it. After the World Cup, we only had 1 month to regroup, so we haven’t played very well.

With the physical and physiological characteristics of Vietnamese women, we need time and cannot change immediately, so the whole team is not in top form yet.

The Vietnamese women's team is in transition, we have to accept that we don't always have the best players. In football, there will be times when someone is injured or has poor performance," coach Mai Duc Chung emphasized.

According to the schedule, on September 25, the Vietnamese women's team will face Bangladesh in the second match of Group D.
