Tuyen Quang Hydropower Reservoir opens 3 bottom spillway gates

Việt NamViệt Nam02/08/2024

Tuyen Quang Hydropower Plant will continue to open bottom spillway gate No. 3 at 5:00 p.m. on August 2.

Previously, at 12 o'clock, bottom spillway gate No. 1 was opened and at 15 o'clock, bottom spillway gate No. 2 was opened. The total water flow through the machine and spillway was about 2,320 m3/s; the corresponding downstream water level after the project was 55.20 m.

To minimize damage caused by flood discharge from hydroelectric reservoirs in the province, the Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue requested districts and cities to direct downstream localities to promptly notify and direct the implementation of measures to ensure safety for people and property when Tuyen Quang Hydroelectric Reservoir discharges floodwater.

Aquaculture facilities, water transport vehicles, ferry terminals and ferry terminals must closely monitor water level changes to ensure safety. Investors and construction units must review and ensure the safety of projects under construction... absolutely not allowing any unfortunate damage to people and property to occur.
