Hanoi Women's Union launched a campaign to support people affected by storms and floods

At the launching and support event, Chairwoman of the Hanoi Women's Union Le Kim Anh said that storm No. 3 had left behind consequences and caused heavy losses in human lives and property in many northern provinces and cities; in order to join hands with people to gradually overcome the consequences after the storm, over the past time, Party committees at all levels, authorities, departments, organizations and people across the country have had many activities, together devoting all their hearts and efforts to overcoming the consequences of storms and floods.

By noon on September 12, the total amount of support from officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the Hanoi Women's Union was 36 million VND.

For the Women's Union, at all levels of the grassroots Union, members and women are very enthusiastic, dedicated, and responsible in participating in supporting people to overcome natural disaster damage, rescue crops, clean up the environment; working with agencies and departments to evacuate people and property of people in flooded areas to safe places, support food and meals for the task force and women members in difficulty due to storms and floods...

The City Association has implemented activities to connect and support the consumption of agricultural products to help women in areas affected by storms and floods. By noon on September 12, the Women's Association at all levels of Gia Lam district had connected and consumed nearly 300 banana bunches of farmers in Phu Thi, Kim Son, and Le Chi communes that were broken due to storms and floods.

Cau Giay District Women's Union launched a program to wrap 3,000 banh chung to support flood victims in the northern provinces.

At the same time, advise on activities to visit the forces performing the task of overcoming the consequences after storm No. 3, female cadres and members who were severely affected after the storm...
